Death is not hope

I have been thinking about a lot. I have spent countless hours, pondering, wondering, questioning the meaning of it all. Life.

They say; to live is to suffer. Looking around, makes this perspective; one that is hard to argue. Who are they? These so called beholders of life’s wisdom?

Well, I fancy the idea of being empathetic to the very dignity behind making such an observation. So humor me for a second, as we explore where this thought may take us.

Before we get it into though, let me first explain the depth of my concern. You see, this yearning to understand life has been with me, ever since I was a child. I honestly doubt that the sentiment of discovering life’s true purpose will ever leave me.

Let’s begin by assuming that the purpose of life was happiness. That we were all born to experience happiness and the constant elation of its joy. Believing that were we meant to only know happiness would most probably make us shallow and void of any true depth.

If you are always happy, how can you be charitable? You would not understand pain and therefore would never help anyone who is in need? If happiness is all we knew, we would never yearn for anything else.

Not truth. Not understanding. Not wisdom. Not love. Not God. Ultimately, I believe, we would not even seek to live. For happiness elates us temporarily, as a provider of hope. Happy is a moment that brings forth the comfort of meaning. A sign of purpose as a possible outcome of life’s struggles. Happiness makes us believe that we can win and that it is good to win. The possibility of winning, makes every challenge worthwhile.

I know who they are. Well, I found out that it is a Buddhist fundamental virtue; this understanding that life means suffering.

If we all agree that we are suffering because we are alive, than we can all be kind to one another. We can help each other (cope a bit better) because we do not know when the monsters that bring forth this suffering will increase or decrease the severity of our plight. To live, is to suffer they say. I tend to agree.

If you asked me to explain everything from the beginning, I would attest to how impossible a task that is. However, for me to claim that many have not tried, would be a lie.

I did some research. Not some, actually a lot of research and observation based contemplation over my years of living. There are countless assumptions, ideas and concepts that attempt to explain the phenomenon of why we are here, if all we’re meant to do is suffer.

Upon analyzing the underlying philosophies of theories that agree with my reasoning, I think I am close to being content with my understanding of truth. Subjective as every other truth that is, I am firmly grounded in using this synthesis of knowledge to bridge my current emotional condition to a future state of spiritual peace.

A desire for serenity, is not born of ignorance.

Do you want to know what else they say? Not the Buddhist, a different they this time. I don’t know what to call them, sorry.

God created the heavens and the Earth. For heaven was to exist in realms of a higher dimension and Earth to exist in a space and time. They say, Earth is a living being, as so it brings forth and carries life in itself.

In its infancy, Earth was a dark planet. Void of much light. Much to say, light in the metaphoric and supernatural sense. Earth as a dark baby planet: she did not understand herself much. She lacked awareness of her own beauty as God’s very unique creation.

Earth was not and is not the only planet in existence, still to this day. As Earth, moving in this space and time, she would interact with other planets. Doing so, with very little understanding of herself or the energies of all the other planets.

Now there are two differing assumptions. One puts forth the thinking that in these interactions Earth went through, she was being raped and in defense of her own struggle, caused death to fall upon the energies she encountered.

The second one, is much more light-hearted and rather proposes that Earth herself was not the victim but due to the ignorance of her own power, brought upon this death unintentionally so.

Whichever rationale, your gut feeling directs you to or sits well with you, is beside the point. The main idea is to understand that this is the very basis by which we begin to form a higher understanding of life, its meaning on Earth and humanity’s role in finding purpose through the suffering.

Furthermore, another assumption that underlies the understanding I am attempting to bring forth is the creationist adage that says God is love.

You see, understanding this is vital. God and love are not separate ideas that are made interchangeable depending on context. No. God is love and love is God. They are one and the same thing.

For God so loved the Earth, that he gave his only begotten son… Jesus.

I have come to believe, that Jesus came to Earth to teach us this exact same sentiment. Love thy neighbor as you love thyself.

Are you beginning to notice a theme here? If you’re asking yourself why love is the answer, I remind you again, because to live is to suffer. I’ll put this in further context and provide my reasoning for the sake of clarity.

Earth has now, been in existence for billions of years. Maybe even more than that, we cannot accurately account, being human is torture hahaha.

Anyway, the universe is governed by many varying laws of energy, many of which, we are yet to discover. However, new age spiritualists have come know of one law, that explains how Earth — in its evolution, came to resolve the crisis brought forth by the carnage of her ignorance. This has come to be known as the Law of Karma.

So you’re probably like huh? To live is to suffer but God our creator God is love? That makes no sense at all. I agree with your confusion. Although, understanding this perspective begs us to avoid this single error: God is not a divine being because he is made of or full of love. God is not a being at all.

God is not divine, God is divinity.

If your brain can fathom this, you are lucky because you see, God is eternal. As love is eternal. We as humanity, hold the capacity to love. This love does not make us eternal but we are created in the image of this eternal love.

We are created or were created for this very purpose; to love, to be in love. This understanding does not surpass any spiritual or scientific understanding. It encapsulates every virtue of divinity in the essence of both paradigms.

Yes, Earth came to evolve and significantly move beyond her own ignorance and confront this karma. This means that; Earth had to allow different energies to co-exist in her nature. She began to carry life and she was a dark planet no more. Hence the famous four words; let there be light.

There’s beauty in this notion of cosmic karma. It is said; that there is life on Earth. Life is indeed a miraculous event, it is the healing of mother-nature. Life is the redeeming miracle of Earth’s karma.

God arts in heaven. Transcendent to any hope that a religious and/or scientific belief may offer. God’s love is this light that we speak of. There comes, however, a point that we must admit that art is a mystery of the imagination. We cannot explain art much more than we can explain God or love itself for that matter.

Developing in this philosophy, I beg to propose that these energies that now inhabit Earth, fear this love, for they do not understand it nor perceive the virtue of its sacrifice, which brings us to the next understanding as we further explore what Earth’s Karma entails for us humans, children of God.

We are a divine species. Vessels of God’s light. The beholder’s of love. Yes you guessed it alright, heaven exists in us. God can and for the most part does live in us. We are vessels of light. The word human is derived from two ideas. Hue + Man = Human. A mankind of light. Let there be light, Amen.

I hope I have not lost you yet Refilwe. There are many energies that exist in our realm and love happens to be one of them. For the purpose of simplification, we have to call these energies spirits.

Earth had to allow these spirits to inhabit her nature. She allowed suffering and love to co-exist in her being because she understands her karma. To understand God is to understand that without God there is only darkness.

Spirits that fear God, do so because of ignorance. Evil is the darkness made manifest in the indulgence of ignorance. Matters to say, some of these spirits brought forth war which is suffering, onto Earth. No human being has a better understanding of suffering than Earth herself.

Firstly, because we live on Earth, we should know that she has felt all forms of suffering that ever occurred on Earth. She endures this suffering because she has caused suffering herself — to other planets.

As she inflicted suffering and death, the same must be inflicted upon her in order to restore the balance of karma. She did this because she was unaware that God so loved the Earth.

Everything is true, thus the idea of an absolute truth bares no significance. If it was conjured up in thought, it was therefore created in us and by us-thus making every thought true as it therefore existed. Thought is energy.

Like God, we are creators of reality. These energies or spirits, what have you, are brought forth to Earth through our beings as lifeforms on Earth. They exist and operate through us. Those who seek to understand God, must choose to participate in deeds of love. Those engulfed by the fear of the unknown will inevitably participate in war, for it is their believe that they must be self-preserving.

There are many theories I can borrow from to deepen your understanding. Some have claimed, that Earth is a cosmic prison for souls. These souls are trapped in loops of reincarnation, having to go through life cycles that foster experiences of suffering as opportunities to transcend the vanity of seeking the pleasure brought forth by happiness. I think that happiness and the selflessness to sacrifice something as an act of love cannot co-exist.

I am not a proponent of assuming Earth is a prison, I am simply trying to explore the possibility that maybe we either are vessels of spirits or we are the spirits themselves existing in these human bodies we use as vessels. Either way, we live to suffer because it is the only way we can seek the highest virtue of them all; love.

To understand love, is to get closer God, our creator. If we were happy all the time, would there be a purpose to love deeply?

Speaking of suffering, they also say; desire is the cause suffering. If we are happy all the time and we never suffer what would we desire? I mean would we desire to know God? Would we desire to understand love? After all ignorance is bliss, right?

Refilwe, we have found love. We fell in love and we also made love. We also always proclaim that we love each other. Understanding this love, falling deeper into its eternal infinities transcends all suffering.

God will allow us to suffer until we understand that we bring this suffering onto ourselves. We think we can own love but we can’t. We cannot truly love the things we desire, we can only desire them and suffer if we do not behold them. We desire power because we think it will protect us from suffering but the truth is; once we get power, our desire to keep it ultimately causes suffering.

Love is not only happiness. It is much more than that. We do not desire love, we desire to be loved. That is why we still suffer. Let us stop desiring, but rather nurture the love we behold. Let’s love like our lives depend on it, because it all honesty, they really do.

Let’s love each other because that is the only way we can come to understand God. It is through understanding love that we can escape the karma of having our souls reincarnate in this world of suffering. Our love is beautiful and it too can art in heaven.

My final words are to beg of you, to let go of any desire for death. Death will not take away your suffering. Death is not evil it is a part of life. However, evil is to use death as an escape to your suffering because this prolongs the entrapment of your soul on Earth.

Remember Bible = Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

As Earth evolves, the suffering of mankind is worsened. It is made more severe because we, as the spirits and life energies who inhabit Earth need to understand the vanity of war. Violence, jealousy, pride, materialism, revenge, murder, dishonesty, theft are but a few of the things that multiply suffering. The pull away from our divinity and thus keep us in the dark.

Earth is ready to transcend into the fifth dimension, a vibration of harmony where she suffers no more. We are in the last days, our chances to reincarnate as spirits meant to self-actualize; are a window that is slowly closing.

Soon the souls that devoted themselves to evil will soon perish with the demise of their own ignorance. The final deaths that Earth will endure is a concept known as hell.

It may not occur in our lifetime but if we do not allow our love transcend we will be doomed to again live life-cycles that force us to confront this carnage. By then it will be too late. By then, we not only die in flesh but in spirit as well.

Earth was not created to suffer for eternity, she must heal and transcend because God so loved the Earth.

I know baby, it’s hard. It will never be easy but because we behold love, we always have a fighting chance. Let’s love each other until death do us part. Then after we die, we’ll be in heaven with our Father. Let’s love like there’s no tomorrow, unbound like the most expressive of art pieces.

I love you with all of me. Our love is the light that made me see the reason to live. I will not desire death, I will only desire to love you and be loved by YOU until end of time because that is my purpose. Let’s fall deeper in love, if not for anything, just to see, if God isn’t waiting on the other side.

I love you Refilwe Mmereki.
